Revue writers have a neat new feature that allows Twitter users to subscribe to their Revue newsletter with just one click within a Tweet.
For the subscribe link to appear, a user has to share a link directly to the Revue profile page they want to promote.
If a link to a specific Revue post is shared, the Subscribe link will not appear until the user has clicked on the post, then gone back to their Twitter feed (presumably to prove they have checked out the content before subscribing).
If a Twitter user has an email address linked to their account, they will be added to the Revue newsletter with just one click: no double opt-in needed. If they do not have an email address linked to their account, they will be directed to the main landing pave of the newsletter to sign up.
This feature is currently available on desktop and mobile web, but will be released on Twitter’s iOS and Android apps soon.
